AAA Team

The All About Acne team, who are the authors of this site, are a group of health and medical experts from across Australia who have an interest in the management of acne. They include several dermatologists, a psychiatrist, a pharmacist, a gynaecologist/obstetrician, a GP and a cosmetic medical practitioner. These people donate their time and expertise in order to provide the most up-to-date, practical and relevant information on acne-related matters.

The All About Acne team works on a number of other initiatives in addition to this website. They include:

• Communications with other healthcare professionals interested in acne, including dermatologists, pharmacists and general practitioners from around Australia, to provide them with further support on various acne topics;
• Provide information and comment on current areas of interest regarding acne, to members of the Australian media who play an important role in educating members of the general public on this condition;
• Management of an acne special interest group comprising dermatologists from around the country that reviews specialist acne literature and collects data on topical acne issues to use for educational purposes with various groups; and
• Contributions to specialist medical journals on acne topics.
