About us

The All About Acne team, who are the authors of this site, are a group of health and medical experts from across Australia who have an interest in the management of acne.

They include several dermatologists, a psychiatrist, a pharmacist, a gynaecologist/obstetrician, a GP and a cosmetic medical practitioner.

These people donate their time and expertise in order to provide the most up-to-date, practical and relevant information on acne-related matters.

The All About Acne team also work on a number of other activities in addition to this website. Initiatives include:

• Providing other healthcare professionals interested in acne with further support on various acne topics;
• Commenting on acne-related topics to members of the Australian media who play an important role in educating consumers about this condition;
• Managing an acne special interest group (SIG) of dermatologists who review specialist acne literature and collect data on topical acne issues for educational purposes with various groups; and
• Regular contributions to specialist medical journals on acne topics
